Michael Sargeant brings over twenty years of political experience to Top Tier Strategies LLC.

Sargeant served as the Executive Director of the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee from 2007-2015. As Executive Director, Sargeant more than doubled the fundraising of the DLCC and increased its reach and stature.

Working for fourteen years at a National Democratic Party committee that impacted all fifty states, Sargeant oversaw and implemented all facets of the organization during his tenure. This included fundraising, political strategy, resource allocation, strategic positioning, message development, communications and digital.

A native of New Jersey, Sargeant graduated from St. John’s University in Staten Island, New York. He lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife Nancy Burke and daughter Emma.
